There are few things to consider before arrival to Vietnam, there we go:
1: Check if you need visa or not, some nationalities are on the exemption list of 15 days free visa on arrival, recently, UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy have been granted for the 15 days free visa, however, if you required a visa to travel more than 15 days then you MUST apply for the Vietnam visa approval letter before hand.
2: Find out where to travel: Vietnam is a large country with a lot of things to see and to do, generally, the country could be divided into 3 main area: The North, The Central and The Southern Vietnam
Recommended activities:
In North: Hanoi . Sapa . Halong Bay Overnight cruise
In Central: Da Nang Beach resort . Hue and Hoi An
In South: Ho Chi Minh City . Mekong Delta and the River Cruise
Best Time to Travel:
From February to Late april considered as the best time to be in Vietnam, though you can travel even in rainy seasons.
Flight to Vietnam: Try to Land in Hanoi and depart from the Ho Chi Minh City, or just vice versa.
