Bac Kan province is rich in tourism potential by the abundance of natural resources, minerals and culture imbued with national identity mountainous northeastern Vietnam.
Bac Kan, Bac Can also be written as, is a province in northeastern Vietnam. Northern border province of Cao Bang, Lang Son Province to the east, to the south by the provinces of Thai Nguyen and Tuyen Quang province west.

Geographical location
Bac Kan is a mountainous province, the terrain is dominated by mountains arc l¬ung turned east interspersed with valleys. Bac Kan province can be divided into 3 regions nh¬u follows:
* The west and north-west: including vessels in the area of Mount Cho Don district, Pac Nam, Ba hu¬ong arc runs northwest-southeast, to the h¬uong flow burner system ¬u Bridge river area.
* The east and east-north: Mount belongs bow system Ngan Son hu¬ong run north-south, extending northeast valley.
* Regional centers: low terrain, sandwiched between the tall mountains of bow Gam in the west, with a side bow on the east bank Son.
Economy

* Industry & construction by 35%.
* Services - tourism increased by 15%, while the number of tourists to Bac Kan province increased 19-20% / year.
* Income per capita GDP is approximately 216 USD.
* Grain output reached 124,000 tons.
* The poverty rate according to the new standards of Vietnam was 50.87%.
Bac Kan has strengths to develop mining industry, mineral processing, building materials, agriculture, forestry and tourism.
